Raksystems to accelerate the international expansion together with Trill Impact
On 21st May of 2022 the impact private investments house Trill Impact reached an agreement with MB Funds to become the new majority owner of Raksystems, the leading Nordic property wellbeing expert. The current management team of Raksystems will remain as significant owners of the company, which will retain the Raksystems brand, and Group CEO Marko Malmivaara will continue as CEO.
Raksystems is a leading expert organization in green construction, real estate management and building condition inspections, serving property owners and users in Finland and Sweden. Employing more than 630 specialists, Raksystems has more than tripled its turnover over the previous three and a half years from EUR 19 million to over EUR 66 million in 2021[i].
Over these years, the company has also started to internationalize their operations, expanding to Sweden and in total conducting 11 acquisitions, of which five were in Finland and six were in Sweden. Together with Trill Impact, the ambition is to continue the expansion in the other Nordic countries as well as beyond, to create a pan-European expert in property well-being services.
Together towards a sustainable society
Raksystems has achieved – and even exceeded – the goals set for it by its previous owner MB Funds during the previous period of just under four years, and it is now the perfect time for a new beginning towards even stronger growth. During the ownership of MB Funds, Raksystems focused on growing both organically and through acquisitions, and the same strategy will continue in the coming years, but with an even stronger focus on transitioning the building stock to become healthier and more efficient.

Furthermore, in all its operations, the group will be ever more committed to achieving a sustainable building stock and extending the healthy and energy-efficient lifecycle of buildings.
